Lea Pennicott created Editz after 25 years experience in document production holding various positions as corporate trainer, TAFE lecturer, RTO Training Manager, Internal Auditor, and Club and Event Manager, specialising in the development of quality assurance processes and compliance with AQTF & ISO Standards.

Lea was a Facilitator for the Australian Executive Women's Network Inaugural Conference in 1991 and winner of the National Public Speaking Competition. She was a speaker for Telstra's National Communications Team, has undertaken government research and speechwriting and delivered presentation training and business writing to business and government personnel. She has also worked one-on-one with people at executive levels to coach them in their own writing and presentation skills. Lea has taught English in Thailand and Malaysia and is experienced in proofreading and editing documents for speakers of other languages.

Lea is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, Fellowship of Australian Writers, Association for Tertiary Education Management, and Australian Council for Adult Literacy and is a past member of TAFE Directors Australia, Australian Council for Private Education  and Training and Australian Institute of Credit Management.

Currently completing her Master of Education, Lea has a Graduate Certificate in Education and also holds VET qualifications in Management, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Publishing and Training and Assessment.
